LADYFEST CINCINNATI is a multi-faceted 3-day festival promoting women involved in arts and activism. Ladyfest Cincinnati 2015, being held October 15 through October 17, will focus on musical and multi-media performances, visual art, educational workshops, community building and empowerment. The festival seeks to encourage, support, inspire, and highlight the music+art made by women* of Cincinnati’s independent scene as well as showcase influential and inspiring musicians and artists, both emerging and established.

Jori An Cotton is a Spoken Word Artist/Performance Poet and Licensed Social Worker born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. She is a proud graduate of Walnut Hills High School and The Ohio State University. She has been working with youth for 15 years in many different capacities. In 2010, she began working with individuals and groups to help them find their voice through writing, performance spoken word and drama. In October 2012, she began teaching spoken word performance in the Elementz, Voices of Freedom Program. Jori also represents Elementz as one of the facilitators of the city wide poetry slam, Louder Than a Bomb – Cincinnati
