LADYFEST CINCINNATIis a multi-faceted 3-day festival promoting women involved in arts and activism. Ladyfest Cincinnati 2015, being held October 15 through October 17, will focus on musical and multi-media performances, visual art, educational workshops, community building and empowerment. The festival seeks to encourage, support, inspire, and highlight the music+art made by women* of Cincinnati’s independent scene as well as showcase influential and inspiring musicians and artists, both emerging and established.

Hailing from another planet, Jennifer Simone is an eclectic improvisational, future-soul artist. With a background in jazz playing the baritone saxophone and a flair for teaching herself various skills such as singing, guitar, piano and, recently, flute, Jennifer has used these skills over the years to play several shows around Cincinnati, Ohio at venues such as the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, the Arnoff Center for the Arts, Southgate House Revival, The Greenwich and Blue Wisp jazz clubs, and, most recently, various bars and clubs in Cincinnati’s Northside neighborhood, an up-and-coming arts and entertainment district.
